Indecent Exposure

Chapter 21 of the Texas Penal Code sets restrictions and guidelines regarding sexually based offenses in the state of Texas.

“Indecent Exposure”, as per § 21.07 of the Texas Penal Code, occurs when a person exposes his anus or any part of his genitals with intent to arouse or gratify the sexual desire of any person, and he is reckless about whether another is present who will be offended or alarmed by his act.

Indecent Exposure is a Class B misdemeanor and is punishable by a term of confinement in a state jail not to exceed 180 days, as well as a fine of up to $2,000.
